David Serves Concept X Group as Production Manager, Production Coordinator, and even Producer for both small scale and large scale corporate events. Nine years ago David was just getting his feet wet with seasoned AV man Kurt Johnson (CEO) shortly before he incorporated Concept X. He has worn many hats since that time, from Graphics Operator to Sound Technician to Lighting and Rigging. His real strength, however, is spotting opportunities to make a good event even better and more memorable. David excels when it comes to problem solving and remaining calm when working under pressure. Therefore, it was only natural that he found his ideal niche as liaison between the client and the production company. David thrives on multi-tasking and is a seasoned traveler who is able to be in all places at all times when needed. His passion is music and moonlights as a musician and work as a sound designer scoring music for film and off-broadway plays.

Marion brings charm and savoir-faire to customer care. With attention to aesthetic sensibility and as a voice of compassion she is likely to become more than just a representative of our company, but a partner with yours. She performs functions to plan, manage, and participate in the service activities involving the sale of contracts for the lease of audio visual equipment and technical services. She supervises show services office staff such as Account Executives and Show Assistants, working within the limits of established policy. She explains, interprets, clarifies, and enforces related company policies and procedures; including customer contact, proposal generation and tracking, sales, show management, follow-up, communication systems, billing, and accounts receivable. Marion monitors the quality of show quotes to ensure technical accuracy, margin of profitability, efficiency of transportation and labor commitments, and availability of equipment and services, and she does it all with again with charm and savoir. faire

Maurice where many hats within our company, since stepping through the doors of Concept X Group, he has served as marketing consultant developing promotional materials, sales development and training, and providing a customer centric approach to increase service and as a result more sales. He has an extensive background in video production and is a former member of The Institute of Directors in London, England, where he represented his company Real Estate Video Services. His more than 20 years of professional experiences are evident in his negotiations for major conferences. and hotel chain business, as well as his foray into major pharmaceutical companies. He received an MFA in speech communications from Oakland University and places his strongest emphasis on customer satisfaction.

Since coming on board with Concept X Group, Ani has worked hard at immersing herself in all aspects of the event production business. As a result, aside from working in the customer relations office offering world class service to our prospective clients, Ani can frequently be found working on-site providing logistical support to our current clientele. faire

Her sales experience spans more than 8 years in the AV Industry and most recently for Concept X Group opened the door to one of the largest Hispanic event planning corporations in America. Ani’s bilingual skills are proving to be an asset for Concept X Group as we expand internationally into Mexico City and Buenos Aires for ongoing projects with Sothebys Auction House. Smooth under pressure; Ani is known for maintaining control and working efficiently through unforeseen events. Aside from being an expert in Photo Shop & Power Point, and so many other industry software, she considers her customer service experience her greatest asset!

Howard comes to Concept X Group with over 12 years of sales and professional services experience. He most recently served as the company’s leader in the procurement of strategic accounts within the hospitality industry in New York City. Howard’s clients include such well known establishments as “Gallaher’s Steak House”, “Stone Rose” , The Palm Restaurant, Porter House, Blue Smoke, and the list goes on...Howard has lived in New York City all his life and isn’t afraid of knocking on every door to a perceived opportunity.

Jonathan brings a wealth of experience to Concept X Group, for more than 18 years, Jonathan ran his own company, Cruz Productions, providing superior audio visual services to the most prominent companies in the country. He knows almost every prominent individual in the AV Industry. Since the merger with Concept X Group , Jonathan has taken on the responsibilities of managing and coordinating the successful completion of all installations; directing the operational issues as they pertain to nationwide projects. He directs and or coordinates the activities of others associated with jobs including project managers, team foremen and installation technicians. He sets the standards and sets expectations with operations personnel. driving the resolution of issues within the team. Boasting ten years of experience in the field, Robert Glover is an AV Specialist with knowledge of all aspect of production. From logistical support of live events in the U.S and Canada, he assures the set up, operation, and tearing down of audio visual and video equipment. He directs a team of brilliant technicians with .a no nonsense, get the job done attitude. Robert has been a member of the Concept X team since its inception.

Brad works directly with senior lighting designers and principals to support project development to meet client requirements. His strong knowledge of lighting has helped us create some of our most dramatic room settings, and he will be here for many more events. Brad supports projects producing lighting layouts; lighting calculations. both day light and electric light; energy code compliance; report writing; presentation materials renderings and graphic packages. His other expertise is in setting up complicated visual presentations for film screenings utilizing cutting edge technology.

Mikey Lights is a Lighting/Technical director proficient in all major lighting applications including club, stage, theater and film.He has 10 years experience in the technical/lighting field which includes of Broadway performances as well as music videos , commercials and concerts for the likes of Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, and Styles P to name a few. He has also toured internationally as technical director/lighting designer for Grammy award winner Roger Sanchez with shows throughout the Americas.
